Trek guest actors in maybe surprising roles

I saw Skip Homeier in Voyage To The Bottom of The Sea's The Amphibians recently and as usual he was da bad guy

Apologies if this has been posted before:

Marj Dusay (Kara) and Merritt Butrick (David Marcus) actually appear in the same scene in "Muffy's Bat Mitzvah". Square Pegs.

I wonder if William Shatner came up in conversation between takes...

John Vernon whom started in the business around the same time as Trek would have been great as an asinine Commodore or another Captain whom Kirk didn't like much.

Just last night: Anthony Caruso as a hoodlum named "Tony" in HIS KIND OF WOMAN (1951), an oddball film noir starring Robert Mitchum, Jane Russell, Raymond Burr, and Vincent Price.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but both Wil Wheaton and Jonathan Frakes turned up in Criminal Minds. Wheaton's character was a particularly sadistic unsub.

I'd be astonished if this one wasn't already mentioned, but it felt like the Gargoyles cartoon show was a TNG reunion. Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner all had regular roles. Michael Dorn had a couple of 'appearances' too. LeVar Burton had a guest appearance in it. Some other Trek actors voiced characters, including Nichelle Nichols, Avery Brooks and Colm Meany.

I'm just going to point out this is the TOS board, and this thread is about TOS actors, not TNG actors.
