Transformers Prime (new cartoon)

Finished watching ep 11 & 12. Really like this series...it is better than the freaking movies.

Ep 12 had Arachnid. I really like Arcee. I think all the characters are great even the human ones are tolerable.

Just watched ep 13. Great series. :bolian:

He is in Bumblebee's mind!!!

Can't wait for the next ep.

It seems they are doing 26 eps for S1 & are working on 26 eps for S2.

I've really liked the last several episodes. The more I think of it, the more that I like the pairings between Humans and Autobots. They could have perhaps easily paired Jack with Bumblebee to be more in line with the movies, but chose to pair Jack with Arcee instead, which I think is a more interesting dynamic, IMO...

 Why are you complaining about it here? :vulcan:

If you have a problem with a Moderator action...you should PM them. :)

[edit] TP is back on HUB June 18, 2011 ;)

Just finished watching "Operation Breakdown" & "Crisscross" Great eps.

I loved the line from "Crisscross" when Jack brings his mom into the Autobot base..."Mom, meet my science fiction club".

I have said it before...this series is way better than the other recent cartoons and far superior to the Bayformer movies. I hope we see Jetfire on TP soon. :D

This was particularly the case on the second Transformers movie, which Bay "plotted" during the writers' strike, coming up with the action set pieces he wanted to feature. Then, when the strike ended, he got Orci & Kurtzman to add dialogue stringing his action set pieces together into something resembling a story. They turned in a draft which was then rewritten by a different writer, Ehren Kruger, who added comic-relief elements such as the widely-reviled racial-stereotype Autobots (which, again, was probably on Bay's instructions).
That's not quite true, Christopher, as this interview with Orci and Kurtzman explains. It would be wrong to imply, as you do, that Orci and Kurtzman came in late in the process and that Kruger was a kind of script-doctor, when they were engaged together at every stage except for the two months of the strike.

The first stage in the process was the treatment that Orci, Kurtzman, and Kruger wrote, turning it in the night before the writer's strike began, which Bay then expanded into a scriptment for pre-production work (and he did include things like Skids and Mudflap). Once the strike ended, the trio spent two months taking their outline and Bay's scriptment and turning them into a functioning screenplay, and it was shot as written because Paramount had already locked in the release date and Bay had already started the animatics work based on the scriptment.

I really like this show, I prefer the original look of the robots and the original voices, but this comes the closest to recapturing the tone and character of the original cartoon I have seen.

Just got done watching the S1 Finale. It was pretty epic. I enjoyed all of S1 and can't wait for S2...which airs November 28, 2011.
