T'Pol

Crewman daniels got on my nerves. He's like one of those people that makes you(that is...me) angry because they remind you of someone you couldn't stand in school that you can't remember anymore anyway.

They should've brought back LT Ducayne from the Timeship Relativity, played by Jay Karnes. He was cocky, sarcastic, always wore a smirk, and was all too happy to put his boss under arrest. Most importantly, he wouldn't have hero worshipped Archer.

As for Discovery, T'Pol could come back, but she'd be about as old as she was in E2. Soval maybe, but he'd probably be dead. T'Pau easily could if they visit Vulcan in the series, as she became like the Matriarch of the planet.

Yeah having a relativity crossover would be awesome as well.

However come to think of it he's only a guest actor in a rather good Voyager episode. It would be difficult for people to remember him.

Phlox, T'Pol, Archer(medical tech?), Trip(yay!), or heck even Reed(Dominic Keating) would be good crossover pilots for me.

Just make one holodeck history lesson episode on the Enterprise D. Then we can bring in future characters!

No, biography from Mike Sussman on a screen "In a mirror, darkly". I believe part 2,
It was made for it, but I don't think the page stating he died the day after the Enterprise launched didn't make it to air.

The one saying he became President of the Federation did, though.

I believe you are correct. Depending on how strict you are, I believe all the biography was meant to be seen, along with Hoshi's.

OK I know this is juvenile......but I have been rewatching season 3 for the first time since it aired, and in the episode where T'Pol and Trip hook up for the first time and she disrobes.......I don't remember actually seeing the top of her ass on broadcast TV......just her back. No complaints, just wondering if that was changed. Of all the things to change.

Yes the Trip and T'Pol scene was changed due to the infamous Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction incident at the 2004 Superbowl halftime show. There was a lot of discussion here when talking about Harbinger when the show originally aired. People in Canada got to see the the entire scene of Trip&T'Pol that was originally filmed while others saw the cropped version of the robe dropping scene in the Usa .

Yet another instance where I think, "Thank God I'm Canadian."

Ahhhh thanks for the explanation. I did a double take.....and may have paused it. I knew I didn't remember it!

T'Pol's addiction is the only aspect of her narrative that I truly hate. Even by her own mother's estimation, T'Pol's emotions were always very near the surface, anyway. And we could all see that, throughout the series. It was simply another attempt to unVulcan the Vulcans. "Oh! Won't the Trekkies love it, when we turn T'Pol into a junky!"

In the scene where T'Pol disrobes. That's not even Jolene Blalock's backside. It's a body double. And on first airing in my market of Dallas-Ft Worth that scene was trimmed.

When I first watched Enterprise I did not enjoy it much. Its hard to say why, but probably because I became fond of the TNG and DS9 characters. However, as the season's progressed I came to respect the show a lot.
Jolene Blalock did a wonderful job as a Vulcan whose emotions are just below surface. I think her performance has depth. She probably had the fortune of being the alien crewmember with a long past. All the other characters, besides Captain Archer, were youngish without a lot of background. When episodes did focus on their backstory it often felt stilted. Ooh the actors did their best, but it has always been Blalock that stood out.
