Toughest Captain

OK, so between all the Star Trek type TV shows what Captain do you think would still be standing if they were in a UFC type matchup. Why?

Very true, a first officers' fight would be far more interesting.

Agreed on Sisko winning. We've seen him take on both Klingons and Jem'Hadar in hand to hand in numbers and win, though Picard gets an honourable mention for taking on a number of Klingon assassins, and that was in his 60-70s.

The fairer match-ups would be Riker-Chakotay (my money's on Chakotay) and Kira-T'Pol (hard call -- T'Pol is probably stronger but Kira's more of a fighter). Way too much fun to think about.

Ah yes, the fight. Spock is the strongest of the group and a good fighter and would definitely win. I agree that Chakotay would take out Riker, especially considering the latter's poor fitness regime, and Chakotay was a Maquis after all. Despite Vulcan strength, I don't know how much of a fighter T'Pol is - but I haven't seen much of ENT yet... I'd give Kira the edge, with her fighting skills and experience.

Now, how about, say, Chakotay vs Kira? He's got physical advantage, but I doubt Maquis fighting techniques are any match for the Bajoran Resistance ones... The latter had a much longer and more serious experience in guerilla tactics. We've seen her disable strong Cardassian men relatively easily. Granted, she probably knows techniques that work best on Cardies.

Or, Chakotay vs T'Pol?
