I was responding to Joel_Kirk's comment about similar names, not looks. Or is it Laura Branigan and Roger Daltrey you don't think look similar? YMMV, as they say.

The actors don't look totally alike, but they have similar features. However, I know some mixed them up because of similar sounding names.

Over at the Classic Horror Film Board, we did an entire thread on celebrities with similar-sounding (or identical) names. Like the two Rex Ingrams or the two Jennifer Warrens. Or Oscar de la Renta and Oscar De La Hoya. It's so easy to get those last two mixed up!

I've mixed up Emilio Estefan and Emilio Estevez before.

Here's another permutation: Similar-sounding voices. A while back my wife was watching "Gunsmoke" while I was listening from another room, and I heard Peter Graves talking. I finally went in to see what his guest role was -- and Peter was nowhere in sight. It took me several minutes to realize that I was just hearing James Arness' voice.

I know they were brothers, but I never noticed they sounded so similar.

Yes, Laura & Roger. Yeah, sometimes I think people look alike and hubby doesn't see it all, and vice versa.

I always thought that Chris Noth looked a lot like Victor Mature.

I just went through a ridiculous amount of steps to see this page of "Totally Looks Like" when I Googled to see if Jerry Orbach was related to Victure Mature. And at 6:20 am no less. Insomnia is no joke.

I've always thought that Cameron Diaz and Eric Roberts looked alike.
