The sets are impeccable. The costumes are often outstanding. I like the slightly different "skant" uniform worn by Engineer Smithfield on FARRAGUT. Nice touch.
The story quality on FARRAGUT and EXETER seems to be improving, but still has a ways to go. Other areas for improvement: somehow, it doesn't quite feel like an authentic TOS-era adventure without at least a little bit of '60's style soundtrack (not easy for a small-time production to emulate) and hairstyles that are more vividly '60's. C'mon, admit it: it would be neat to see Lt. Moretti with Uhura's Diana Ross & the Supremes-style 'dos.
