What happened to the second Gorn costume?

Reports were that Wah Chang made two that were slightly different from each other.

While doing a bit of research for something else, I came upon this:

If you read down through that, you will come to a part talking about someone rescuing a complete Gorn costume from the trash bins at Paramount.

Then I read this old thread:

If the costume in the 1971 movie is the same one that eventually got destroyed by cats, except for the head, then what became of the one that was rescued from the trash?

And....why would Paramount save only one costume and not both?

Roddenberry's Spectre (20th Century Fox, 1977) has a Gorn-adjacent reptilian demon in a red cape. It's easy to search up images of.

I wonder if that costume was a re-use in Spectre, or if it got re-used later in something else. Fox was not shy about re-using props and such in all of their sci-fi productions.

There are two Gorn costumes in a photo from Bob Justman's officer in Inside Star Trek, IIRC. One has an AMT Enterprise it its mouth.
