TOS Episode Title Challenge...

Used to be a time when I could get all 79. Either the brain is going, or it's been too long since I've seen the eps.

I have things to do, so I can't do it in one sitting. Will try, though. I actually think I can do it, but maybe taking a long time is cheating, as eps will pop up in my brain later, whereas in one sitting, there are some I will just forget exist.

[BTW: T'Bonz, my compliments for using a real picture of yourself as an avatar. You look happy and good. This was my first forum to belong to, and I didn't know we were supposed to pick cute names. Mine is just a first letter and last name. Had I to do it over, though, I would use my real name. The anonymity of internet posts and comments has fostered meanness and callousness, this site included. I see more newspapers online using facebook comments, which eliminates SOME anonymity. I ramble; be well!]

My full name was always known online, but it's only in the past year or so that I've used pictures of myself. I had to lose weight first.

Not bragging, because it is just a sign of deep sickness, but I can do all Titles, Writers, and Directors in production order, and I can do composers (if it was an original score), too.

I got all the reference books so I wouldn't have to remember all those titles...

Ditto here! I tried the 10 minutes test and while I could remember the stories easily enough, translating those into titles proved harder than I expected!
Of course, my Trek watching has declined sharply since the arrival of my children - that's an acceptable excuse, right?

Nowadays, it could be rough going.

I've spent about 20 minutes on it and have 58 titles listed. Recall didn't work out quite evenly by season, with 23 from S1, 19 from S2 and 16 from S3. I'll keep at it for a little longer and see which other ones remember themselves.

I recall a few titles that stand out to me. I don't believe I've ever seen all 79, though. It seems like I've seen more like 40 at most.

It seems that the station that they used to run the episodes on in my area also played them in haphazard order, and seemed to pretty much refuse to play anything from season 3 after awhile, and I think I know why.

I remember seeing part of "The Way to Eden" when I was about six and a half on that station, thinking, "This is a really stupid Star Trek [episode]". Seems like I then ran around the house to break in my new shoes.

As far as I can remember, my parents left the room to make dinner, and eventually shut off the TV because no one was watching it.

So yeah, I think the station's ratings were too low when they reran the third season episodes. I don't know if many channels care about rerun ratings, but I guess this one did.

Offhand, I can only remember about 15 episode names. I'm not good with remembering names of things, except names of people. I am sorry to say that I didn't get much opportunity to watch the original series. I would gladly watch any of them now, even "The Way to Eden".
