If they are in civvies, how would we know if they are in Starfleet of not? Maybe they are just visiting passengers.

Again, I'd like to thank all those who added to the knowledge base for the project. My cohorts have taken a look and added their suggestions for design changes. I hope to have this finished by the weekend.
Not only is Kirk wearing a hospital gown, he's "wearing" Janice Lester. Janice is a civilian.
Does this count as "civilian clothing?"
If the hospital gowns are Starfleet issue, then they would be Starfleet clothing, wouldn't they?

That's probably true but I'm going with it as there are so few other instances of "non-duty uniforms" on the show.
I'll probably have better luck when I get to NextGen's Duty Roster.
