Torchwood pushed back to July?

Bob The Skutter

Just read on TubeTalk that Children of the Earth isn't going to be aired until July now. But they did have an extended trailer for it... Link

ok ive just watched the promo

every single child in the world, has stopped, just stopped
so will this be refrenced on the Sarah Jane Adventures?

It would seem very strange for Sarah Jane might to be involved with this.

nice signature by the way

Looks good, but it is somewhat annoying that we're seeing repetition in the Whoverse again. First everyone of a certain blood group falling under alien influence, then everyone of a certain star sign, now all the kids?

I'm with Wamdue, you'd think this would be a shoe in for Sarah Jane to investigate (wonder if Luke is affected?)

yes considering he does not have a birthday and so was not effected by the zodiac magic, energy from the old times stuff, it is possible he wont be effected by this.

that said I guess it depends on how the aliens make the children stop, it could be as something as a hormone that is either absent in children, or present in children, ok they wont get the teens, but from that clip, the stopped children all look quite young, which now I think about it might give the SJA cast a loop hole, but still even if Luke and co are not effected you would think Sarah Jane would want to do something about it.

then there is the line about "them" (I would guess UNIT) being the only ones with the software clever enough to piece it all together, but im sure Mr Smith could piece it all together as well

Damn it all I want Torchwood! I'm still clinging on for this month as that's when last week's TVMag (free with The Sun :D) says it will be on.

Surely the week after The Apprentice finishes would have been the perfect week. 9pm 5 nights, nothing on at that time on BBC One at all (HIGNFY surely will finish in a week or two or take its usual mid-series week-off). And my exams end the week before too. Absolutely perfect, but it seems doomed to be next month.

HappyDayRiot yes I was thinking the same as you, but the BBC Press website does not have it listed for that week.

For starters there is a new series of Hotel Babylon and 3 episodes of Occupation that week, that all seem destined for the 9pm slot

Aside from the SJA hole... why does no one use their magic phones to call in the blue box guy, why do they say 'stopped' not 'frozen' and why in the smeg does no child freeze whilst jumping, skipping, coming off a swing or anything that doesn't involve standing perfectly still?

I am going to OG to protest... no... wait...

What you really want to know is why there's no teenager stuck in the middle of a session of furious masturbation, isn't it?

given the sitution shown in the promo it does seem odd that they dont contact the Doctor, hopefully that is something that is address at some point. Sure they cant hassle him for every little alien invasion, Earth does need to stand on its own two feet, but it does seem like this time it might be worth calling him.

Its possible of course that as part of the invasion, the aliens have prevented Earth from sending ANY signals into space.

Besides I dont think this will effect teens, just primary school aged kids.

Thanks for the heads up, only £17.59 on amazon.

I know, it seems cheap.

Now I just need to get a hi-def telly to start watching my growing blu-ray collection on.
I watch most TV shows on DVD in my bedroom, I need a HDTV up there really.

I still remember Tomorrow's World telling me that by now all the walls in your room would be a giant TV screen.

I would settle for a nice ceiling TV in the bedroom.
