Torchwood pushed back to July?

6th - 10th of July!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/proginfo/tv/2009/wk27/unplaced.shtml#unplaced_torchwood1

(I know it says "Unplaced" at the moment but we know it's running Monday to Friday.)
Possibly (probably?) not: Hotel Babylon starts this week in the 9pm Friday slot, and runs for eight weeks, and is on the Friday programme info for wk27 if you check the 7-day version.
Casualty 1909, which has the 9pm Sunday slot, is suspiciously absent from the Sunday listing, so Torchwood might well be Sunday to Thursday...

Casualty 1909 is always absent, but yeah Hotel Babylon would make me think it wont be this week, but then why put in the PI (all the good stuff is unplaced) if you dont plan to air it.

Here in Canada, I saw an advert for Torchwood: Children of Earth on SPACE this evening and they said it starts July 20 and will air over 5 consecutive nights. Fantastic, I can't wait! :D

Eeexcellent. I wonder if I can convince the lady to watch it, if not, I'm camping out at my own flat and not visiting her for a few days ;)

The new 1 minute trailer looks good.

Plus Ianto looks cool with his machine gun.

Cool, I finish work in 2 minutes.

The I go on Holiday for a week, come back and then Torchwood is on all week.

Excellent.

Perfect timing - I'll be shattered from work experience the week after but have absolutely nothing planned for 6th-10th July. Beautiful.

BTW, Radiotimes.com lists BBC3 repeats daily at (usually) 11.45pm for anyone whose recorder messes up.

just looking ahead, and aside from Thursday I wont have any problems fitting Torchwood into my schedule.

and Thursday is solved by watching the five USA repeat of the Mentalist on Sunday.

I sure as hell am not watching Torchwood on BBC 3, I like my TV characters heads not to have pink letters floating on them.

You can also catch the MEntalist on C5's on demand iplayer thingy :techman:

DemandFive... Never really used it, how is it?

First time I tried to use it on my PC was a disaster, but watched the Mentalist a few weeks ago on my laptop and it was ok (although I am undemanding) only annoyance was that it still had some adverts (the Stella chicken ad) that you couldn't fast forward...useful though

ITVplayer and 4oD both have unskippable ads now, too.

I suppose it makes sense, they do rely on ads for revenue...least on 5 there's only 1 ad per break so it isn't quite as bad as watching it live.

I could do the same for Mock The Week & That Mitchell & Webb look, but I enjoy the act of watching TV, plus I paid good money for my freeview box allowing me to get FiveUSA, so I will watch it on FiveUSA.
