It's a sketchshow, and pretty good as sketch shows go.

It's the only sketch show I've laughed at in a looooooooong time.
Excellent! Although, honestly, it's a weak excellent. Just barely get the top grade. There was still too much Torchwood watching Lois and Lois watching politicians talk. That portion felt stretched. Torchwood's big solution was to threaten to press "Send". Not that that wouldn't work given the situation . . .
But, lots of powerful character stuff that made up for some of that stretching. And, I didn't see Ianto's death coming! And he was getting interesting too. Darn.
Jacks backstory and how it affects him now, with Ianto's nudging was excellently done.
I'm eager to see the conclusion!

I actually tried to think of a sketch show other than M&W that I've laughed at in recent times. The only one I can think of was repeats of The Fast Show.

I had the same thought recently. Sketch shows completely died after The Fast Show for me, now M&W have revived the format. By, y'know, being funny n' shit. As opposed to just shit (Little Britain, I'm looking at you).
On am slightly unrelated note, did anyone see David Walliams on 8 out of 10 cats the other week? Someone needs to exterminate that annoying little cunt.
