Alexander Siddig has always been my choice.
It be funny if the Doctor went backward in faces at least once (aside from Tom Baker) to revisit an old favorite face.

Mcgann is available, then the 13th doctor can be the 8th that we have not seen much of![]()
Would be interesting to see McGann try a totally different take on the role, but with as many fantastic (and probably more interested) actors as there are out there it seems unlikely. It be funny if the Doctor went backward in faces at least once (aside from Tom Baker) to revisit an old favorite face.

So far, although enjoying him, I'm not as keen on Capaldi as I was on Eccleston or Smith after their first season in the role. Perhaps this is because my expectations of him were too high; having said that, I wasn't dying about Tennant after his first season either but he did go on to become one of my favourites so I do expect Capaldi to continue to grow on me.
Yep. It had it fun turns, but it was a letdown, overall. So far, although enjoying him, I'm not as keen on Capaldi as I was on Eccleston or Smith after their first season in the role. I feel the same way, but I suspect this has more to do with the writing than it does Capaldi's acting. I found myself getting bored with most of the last season, and it had nothing to do with the performances of the cast.
