Too old for anime?

I'm nearly 33 years old and I still enjoy anime. In fact, just last night my wife and I watched "Appleseed" for the first time. Honestly, my anime "heydey" was back when I was a teenager- despite the fact that my mom just couldn't understand why I liked it so much. I'm still a fan of Project A-Ko, the original Bubblegum Crisis series, Dirty Pair, Urusei Yatsura, original Kimagure Orange Road, Voltron, Thunderbirds 2086, and especially Robotech (the only series I have in its entirety)- some of them original Japanese material and others in "americanized" form. I also love several of Miyazaki's films, including Kiki's Delivery Service and especially Howl's Moving Castle. I have been curious about the original Gundam series but haven't had a chance to watch them and I have some music from Record of Lodoss Wars but haven't actually seen much of that particular series but I've heard it's good. I haven't really kept track of recent anime nor have I been able to really afford to explore many recent series with the exception of Slayers and Inuyasha, so I don't know what's particularly popular right now but I know that if my wife and I find something we think we might like we'd at least rent it. I've never really heard of anybody being "too old" to enjoy anime, however, particularly when most japanese anime (aside from some of the younger-leaning material such as Pokemon) is mostly produced for older audiences anyway.
