What's left in terms of the mystery to this film? A few visuals?
I just can't get excited anymore - the internet is a hateful thing.
Compared to Nemesis this is the most secretive movie ever. I remember the FULL script for Nemesis was leaked 6 months before the movie even came out and we knew EVERY detail.
That's me, too. For me it keeps up the child-like excitement about a new Star Trek Movie

Actually the script for Nemesis was leaked 17 months before it was released. Nemesis was released in December 02, we had the script and plot details in July 01.
I liked having all that info in advance like that. The uber-secrecy surrounding Trek XI is really unnecessary. There were guards present when the actors got the script, for fuck's sake. What could Abrams possibly be hiding? Probably how crappy the movie really is.
Could you, like, stop making these baseless comments please? You've already confessed in an earlier thread that you make these comments just to get a reaction out of people. And it's getting a reaction out of me: It's really annoying and getting really old really fast.

I agree. Studios and Networks release EVERYTHING about a story to the presses - whether it be a show or movie - these days, and trailers also show way to much. Where's the fun it, I don't know, watching anything when you go in knowing what to expect?
