I would assume that it comes with the main model, yes, or they wouldn't be showing it along with the E. but I'm not entirely sure that it's 100% to-scale at 1:350. Looks just a tad too big, but it may just be photographic/perspective distortion.
I missed the TOS. Definitely backing this. And I hope it keeps going.

I've already requested that the thread title be updated to reflect the fact that tomy has now expanded their offerings, and make this a more general thread to discuss tomy diecast ships. It appears it's been too long for me to make any edits to the first post though.
I know TOMY got a lot of flack when the TOS-E was released without some of the promised detailing or correct display side. However, after I received mine I think it looks fantastic. I am still stunned I was able to get a TOS-E looking this good at the price point it was offered at ($599). I have no reservations about ordering another ST ship from them if the quality and detail remain at the prices being asked.
There's an interview with the lead designer of the TMP model from STLV, with some detailed footage of the prototype. There aren't any plans for tiers or stretch-goals. He mentions that the panel lines on the ship lend themselves to less conspicuous screw-covers, as well as some differences in how the model goes together structurally. He talked a little about them planning to redesign the base and reinforce the stand. They're also adjusting the aztec panel pattern, and alluded to some other improvements they're working on. At the very end of the video, there's a clip of a TMP-style startup sequence with the windows, then spotlights, then deflector coming on one after the other.
Pre-orders are live today, and will remain so through the middle of September.
They only need 2,000 backers to fully fund the project and when I placed my order a bit ago they already had almost 1,700 after six hours. I wouldn't be surprised if they sell 4,000 or 5,000 of these.

Haha. Those pesky bank accounts. You only live once though so enjoy. when I buy stuff like this I think to myself we never had detailed enterprises like this as kids. So I'm buying it even if I don't need it or have the space ..

Repaint variants are always a good way to supplement revenue generation with minimal investment. Eaglemoss did it for years; Diamond Select, etc.

That is absolutely gorgeous. The attention to detail is just as stunning as on your replica uniforms and props. You’re a legend!
Out of curiosity, I’ve seen you in your TOS uniform… Did you ever splash out on some Monster Maroons?
