MCCOY: It's been too long. Jim should have at least signaled by now.

Spock: You may be right, Doctor. (To Kyle) Open communicator channel.

 

[Admiral Shran]

[ADC Statistical Services]

(There's a beeping sound.)

SERGEANT: What was that?

 

[BlueStuff]

KIRK: What was what?

 

[Alienesse]

SERGEANT: That noise.

 

[BlueStuff]

SULU: I didn't hear anything.

 

[Alienesse]

SERGEANT: That noise. It's coming from one of these things.
(He has a communicator in his hand, so he puts down the bag and belts and opens it.)

 

[BlueStuff]

SULU: The emergency signal.

 

[Alienesse]

SERGEANT: Stay right where you are.

 

[BlueStuff]

[Transporter room]

KYLE: One emergency signal, sir.

 

[LeadHead]

Spock: Beam up immediately.

 

[BlueStuff]

MCCOY: Only one signal. What happened?

 

[LeadHead]

Spock: We will know in a moment Doctor.

 

[BlueStuff]

(The Sergeant is beamed aboard.)
KIRK [OC]: Kirk to Enterprise.

 

[LeadHead]

Spock: Spock here, are you all right Captain?

 

[BlueStuff]

KIRK: Yes, I'm all right, but as you can see, we have another problem.

 

[LeadHead]

Spock: Captain's Log, Stardate 3113.9. First Officer Spock recording. Due to an unfortunate accident, we have taken aboard another unwanted passenger.

KIRK: Your surprise package is an Air Police sergeant from the base.

[Transporter room]
