Today is Alien Day (4/26)

Since today is 4/26, the same three numbers that make up the planet from the first two Alien movies, Fox has declared today Alien Day.
I'm probably not the biggest fan of the franchise on here, I've still never seen Alien 3 or Ressurection, but I still thought it might be fun to set up a thread for today.

I just thought it was kind of a fun thing for them to do. I know the last few haven't been that good (although I do like Prometheus), but I still think the first two are pretty noteworthy in SF history and deserve to be recognized.

As part of the celebration Reebok released their Ripley shoes from Aliens, and sold out in less than an hour, screwed up the website, and pissed people off by only offering men's sizes.

Niel Blomkamp also released Newt concept art for his Alien 5.

I wish somebody had the first movie streaming for free legally. I've been thinking about rewatching it, and today would have given me the perfect reason to do it.

We probably should clarify Alien Movie Franchise Day, even though that is clumsy. I came into this thread ready to argue that July 8 is Alien Day (Roswell's anniversary).

Oh yeah, I didn't think about that. All of the new stories were just calling Alien Day, so I didn't think about adding anything to specify the Alien (big A) franchise, rather than generic aliens (small a). Can I edit the title or does it need to be a mod?
So are any of the Alien(s) comics or novels worth reading?

Is Xenomorph Day taken?

Actually, I believe in the Alien Aliens more than Roswell.

We all know it was just Dr. Zoidberg and Bender's body, anyway.
