Today I'm 31...

Don't feel so bad.

My eldest son is 31!!! I seems like only yesterday he was alittle boy. Time goes by too quickly.

I am 51 year old, do not have a husband (I am grateful for this), I do not have a job, own a house or a car. I cannot even drive.

I do have three sons. Only one lives with me, the other two I only see very occasionally.

But I am happy.

If you do not like your job is there anything to stop you from tking off and looking for a new life?

Fear. If I did manage to save some cash and start over somwhere else...It is a bit scary...maybe it is just me.

Honestly, the majority of what you said that was bugging you doesn't even come close to a priority with me. Sure, I want to be successful, and i want love and all that jazz. But is it really necessary?

I have a boyfriend, and i love him to death. If we get married and have kids, great, if not, oh well, I found myself a best friend.

If I get a job that pays well thats great too, all I care about is having a roof over my head.

I have family, they just dont include my own kids, but they mean just as much to me as my own kids would be.

If you keep chasing after something that may not happen, or at least not immediately, without appreciating what you do have, then all thats going to happen is what you're diong right now. Moping every time a year goes by about how thing couldve been different, and how you wish you were living someone elses life. You're going to be miserable, and theres nothing anyone else can do about it.

I'll be 32 in July and pretty much in the same boat, I also I have little responsibilty, don't drive, and yes I was a bit concerned before I hit 30. I mean 32 you''re technically old enough to be a grandparent.

There are days I feel 16. I don't think I look 32. Others do!

I went to the Doctors last week and she was younger than me, that was scary.

Still no point worrying about it.
