I know there have been several posters clamouring for a sequel to that one for some time. As for myself, I'm pleased by any story rich in continuity references, as I'm sure most everyone knows.

Good to know. I'll add Immortal Coil to my (already huge) list. I've been working on a huge "catch up on Treklit" project, so it's going to take me a while, but I promise I'll get to Cold Equations eventually!

I just ordered Immortal Coil to be able to read it before your book.
And, if I may, is it only for this one or are there other books to consider reading before your next books ? (If so it will enable me to read/buy the needed books)

Just ordered Immortal Coil myself. I'd missed a few until Destiny came out and have been (slowly) catching up with some of the older stuff too.

I'm just wondering now whether to wait till all three are out and read them (and Immortal coil) in one go or as they come.

This is a novel I definitely want to read .i can't wait to find out the rest of the story of what happens to B-4 after reading the sample chapter.It's story I've wnted to see in a novel for a long time.

Of course not, any more than it's impossible to watch "The Cage" without having seen the battle on Rigel VII. You're filled in on what you need to know. But Immortal Coil is certainly worth having as a companion piece to the trilogy.

Without giving the game away, I'm interested to know why it's a sequel to that novel? Was it interest on your part or an editorial suggestion? Or did the current trilogy come first and then realised aspects fit and made it a sequel (if that makes sense)?
