I watched them all as they originally aired, and TOS in repeats FOREVER (so quoting it verbatim is a natural reflex). But that was while growing up, before cable, before satellite DISHes, back when they only had 4 channels. Wow, I'm old. Later, the others were rewatched once, maybe twice in the many years after, but binge watching was not an option.
Then the remastered TOS (usually so much better than the original) on Blu-Ray, then TAS on DVD. And with Netflix, binge watching was now an option. Except for TNG, I happily did them all. I'm not sure why TNG got a pass. Too recent? Not since the first airing, but unlike most of the others, TNG has been on TV pretty much continuously so I never got a chance to miss it.
But I love all Trek series, and most of the movies. My POV is if you can take out 5% of the episodes of any Trek series, every one of the series is so far above average TV you can't help but watch them and even recommend them. As for the 5%, with so many writers and so much pressure to produce on budget and on time, it's little wonder some are real stinkers. But it's wrong to judge a whole series by a handful of truly awful episodes. Trek is great stuff.
