Picard in his own series? Not TNG?! Well, then ... in that case ... I couldn't be happier for Sir Patrick Stewart. This endeavour has my fullest support.

That would be kind of strange, from a fan point of view. It would take some getting used to. But it's entirely appropriate for the character. I'm just kind of surprised that enticed Sir Patrick Stewart into coming back, if that's what, in fact, brought about his return.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the state of the galaxy is as this take place twelve years after the events seen in ST 09 which featured the destruction of Romulus.
But don't the JJ movies and new series have to keep stuff separate now? idk

Well. I never really thought it would happen but now that it's happening....wow.
I don't like Discovery. Sure, I only gave it 6 episodes and perhaps that's unfair, but I just don't like it much. This has me excited though. I can't wait to see what they do!
