TNG on Family Guy

I was definitely let down by the episode, as well. There was a lot of potential here and Meg's story didn't really fit when I wanted to more from the characters. Unfortunately, there was no plot built around any of the TNG cameos-- just some playful bantering that won a chuckle or two-- but nothing to write home about. I think some of us were expecting a "Blue Harvest" for Trek,- and we were severely shortchanged.

Finally watched the ep. It was utter CRAPPPPP! After watching it, I felt FG needs to be cancelled again!

Not going to happen. Fox just signed a $100 million deal with Seth MacFarlane for additional Family Guy and him to create additional series for them.

This was the first episode of Family Guy I watched in, like, forever -yes, I was suckered into the TNG stunt-cast too. Man, but was I ever reminded why I dislike the show. Animation still awful (it's really pathetic when the knowingly crap animation from South Park is still far more expressive than Family Guy), DOA jokes, dull characters (Stewie's better as the little evil genius, not the uber-gay toddler)...

Alright, I did chuckle a few times, but when Simpsons can still provide me with two-three hearty laughs with every new episode, it's quite a disgrace Family Guy is still on the air.

First full ep of Family Guy I've watched so far, and now I see why. I did love seeing the cast animated, but wish more of the characters would have gotten more lines, and I defiantly wish Denise Crosby had stuck around, though the joke was funny.

Only thing I hated was Stewart in the bowling scene where he proclaims, "I have girl boobies!" A little beneath him I think.
