Hi. I'm study2400 or Brent Sohlden888"study3600" aka Ben-Ach

I really like the Episode Hide and Q and loved its ending, how all the crew from Wesley to Geordi rejected the evil gifts of Q because as Geordi put it, "of who I'd have to thank".

It sure ended better than TOS S1X2: about the man who got powers and became so powerful he became monster. I suspect also that Charlie X was a visitor from the Q Continuum. (Similar powers).

I really like Picard and Data, and the Borg and Guinan and LaForge and Patrick Stewart as an actor generally.

I watch TNG on Paramount + and love how the Picard Series successfully (at least in my opinion) continues the TNG and DS9 Series, taking Star Trek to almost comparitavely Andor-like levels (at least in some episodes, not all, I hear.)

I have not seen all of TNG, DS9 or Picard (or even all of TOS) and just watched the TOS Episode Miri for the very first time on Paramount +. I own a lot of Star Wars, Star Trek DVD's and Blu-Rays, and two Star Wars 4K Ultradiscs that I have no machine can play them - fortunately I can watch those Episodes on Disney +.

Blows my mind this topic is 20 y.o., this is fantastic
I am currently playing ST TNG era Captain's Log. I've been re watching ass seven seasons of TNG, all movies, Picard series and Behind the Scenes throughout whole winter, not I'm writing my own episodes with dices.
I adore whole TNG crew, especially Picard, Riker and Data. But I have a special place in my heart for Barkley.

I love Barclay, though I love all the characters and they have their moments I think he brought some much needed grounding.

A really awesome fanvid with Queen - wait, the song makes sense. It's done really well. I do prefer this users old one to this one, though, it's still good.

Heya, I'm Uncle Sock, and I have been a lifelong fan of Star Trek. TNG started it all for me, and I consider myself lucky that I got to become a fan when TNG was current. I believe I started watching TNG first in 1991 on an old black-and-white TV that my parents gave me because I was sick in bed. "Q Who" was on (a rerun, of course), and I was hooked.

My favorite episode of TNG of all time is "Lessons". I keep telling everyone that this episode is the essence of Star Trek. It's about the characters first, and then the sci-fi. It has drama without being melodramatic, the characters treat each other with kindness and respect (just look at everyone's positive reaction when they learn that Picard has a thing for someone on the ship that's not Beverly), etc. etc. In fact, I have watched Lessons so often that I can almost quote it line by line. It's also my comfort episode; whenever I'm in need of something cozy and something to get me all the warm fuzzies, I watch Lessons. I love that Star Trek has "quiet episodes" like this one.

Yes. There are much bigger and much more successful episodes (I'm looking at you, Locutus-two-parter!), and although I really love those, too, Lessons will always have a special place in my heart.
