Am I the only one who's noticed how dumb this scene looks?
In a room full of people who seen a transporter used before, they're all looking at the controls like they've never seen one used before.
Picard: The next galley officer who considers it humorous to replace the ship's wine stores with urine recyc will be airlocked immediately.
Geordi: These men are from France, right?
Troi: Corrrect.
Geordi: Now, the captain is from France, and he has the same accent, right?
Troi: Correct.
Geordi: The characters in the MacBeth program are from Scotland. How can they have the same accent?
Troi: Uh ....
Geordi: And the characters in the Sherlock Holmes program ...
Troi: Uh ...
Geordi: And you ... you have the same accent, and you are from Betazed!
