I just made the connection that Cadet R'Zaad is the same orange skin guy R'Zaad with the Orion Pirates. I need to pay attention to names. I guess the hair styles threw me off. I assume he's not human? Enjoying the story.

He's Half-Orion. I went with the orange as a nod to the FASA RPG Orion books And yes, he's absolutely the current Captain of that Orion ship. I decided to start this one off with some backstory.

I love the wall decoration with the gold space station and visiting ships. Starfleet must be starting to standardize its interior design of briefing rooms across its facilities.
