Time to do the trench run..

I used to play this on PC a lot, I think at school. Good times. :cool:
A local arcade had it in a sit-down arcade cabinet (as discussed here), but it was perpetually out of order.

Stay on target...

While I did not play this particular game, I did love "X-Wing" and "X-Wing II: Rebel Alliance" a whole lot. Also, random video game fact, this game reminded me of TIE fighters and the hero ship on the box looked like an X-Wing:

Our local Game World had the sit down version when it was new (1983 and beyond). I pumped lots of tokens into that one.
 
What a difference a couple years makes. I remember the SW arcade game well, but can't remember the ESB one at all.

I graduated in 1985 and straight to the Navy, so I went from teenager who had time to go to the arcade to "not so much". The game probably came and went fast as they were making much nicer looking stuff by that point.
It's actual a pretty cool game.. they let you do some target practice, and you can fight more than just TIES
