Time for a New Forum?

Now that we have a name and some (scant) details - is it time for a Discovery forum?

Nope. I think the new forum should be launched when we have the first real trailer with the whole cast known ... Until I don't know that the first episode is finished I don't think we can take anything for granted. Although things are looking good

I wouldn't rename this forum, because there's still a future to speculate about after Star Trek Discovery, and the old threads in here weren't about Discovery. I'd create a new forum beside the ones for the other shows, and beam the relevant threads over to it. And I'd do it soon, before it gets out of hand.

I'm all for a new, specific Discovery forum. There's so much now related to Discovery here, that other topics are just gonna get pushed aside. It's up to the mod squad, though.

I'm sure such a forum is in the works. Bonz may have already sent out messages seeking recruits to serve as mods. It's kind of like receiving your Hogwarts letter, only instead of it being full of magic and wonder, it's kind of ominous, and usually includes photos of the recipient caught en flagrante with farm animals.

I guess it will feel strange at first that the Discovery sub-forum will replace the Enterprise forum as the last and newest entry into list of Star Trek TV shows. Come to think of it, it feels weird that come January 2017 Enterprise won't be “that new show” in my head anymore.
