Thoughts on Burnham's relationship to Sarek

I never claimed to be moderator. I simply asked you not use profanity with me.

If this is the end of the matter, let it be the end of the matter, I have no problem engaging with you in discussion on any topic again as long as it is civil. Assuming of course, you don't have me banned for posting this but I'm posting this here because I have no wish to see how you conduct yourself in private.

What's interesting is that in light of the new trailer, Fuller's comment from some months ago about wanting to incorporate Amanda Grayson makes somewhat more sense now. I wonder what role she played in Michael's past and if they will still try to have her appear.
 
Refugee maybe? Raised on Vulcan. Her colony wiped out by the Klingons which is why she wants their heads now despite her pacifist connections.
Or one of Sarek's many love children. Why did he like human females when he could barely tolerate his half-human son?

Sarek was not like that about Spock. He loved him, he just never said it and he was no more upset at Spock's choices than a human father would be.
 
Captain Indecisive, I think you're here to argue, not to discuss. I've been following this thread and find you to live up to your name on several levels. I'm not accusing you of being a troll, dual or any other specific infraction but I don't see much constructive in your writing.
 
It might be interesting to see Sarek as a Vulcan with character defects. Maybe his desire for human companionship is an indicator of a Vulcan who only appears to have it together. Also, if Amanda is in DSC too, that possibly points to them raising Burnham. Why might they raise a human or human-looking child unless there was a connection. As for her ears, it's possible that Vulcan genes aren't always dominant. She seems to behave like a Vulcan except for her Klingon hating.
 
Have I missed something? Where is she hating on the Klingons in the trailer? Seems more like she knows something the others don't when she insists on firing on them and less like it's a personal grudge of some sort. So where is this coming from?

Yeah, i'm getting the impression she's talking more in terms of punching the klingons in the face to make them think twice. A show of strength.

Hm, I dunno. Her line “I'm trying to save you. I'm trying to save all of you.” leads me to believe she knows something about the Klingons the others don't. Maybe because she was out there, seeing their ship, fighting the Klingon astronaut.
