Thor: Ragnarok

Hulk thank Academy for tremendous honor. Hulk been on "incredible" (wink) journey and Hulk couldn't have done it without support of Hulk's family and friends. Hulk also want to say thank you to Kevin Feige for rescuing Hulk from cinematic laughingstock and making Hulk one of most popular characters in MCU. Hulk very humbled standing here before Hulk's peers--if conductor not stop trying to play Hulk off stage, HULK SMASH!

Hi, I just registered on this forum today because I wanted to say how much I loved the new trailer and can't wait to see the film.

Honestly, almost all the SDCC trailers are hitting me in the right spot this year. Thor, Stranger Things, Discovery, Defenders...even Justice League. ;)

I hope hope hope that the music and typography of the Thor trailers come from the film itself. I'll be bummed if the music is just another in a long line of forgettable Marvel scores. (There are exceptions, but...y'know.)

I sure hope so, too. The music has been a great fit for the trailers and I hope that continues to be the case in the film itself.

I've been wondering the same, especially with some recent trailers having footage not even found in the movie itself. If not, it's been some brilliant marketing.

This fella looks kinda familiar. Can't quite put my finger on it . . .

What footage? How do you know that?
Sorry, not in the Thor trailers if that is the confusion. I'm thinking, off the top of my head, like Rogue One, or maybe more relevant to the discussion, Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Rogue One had the Tie Fighter scene that was created solely for the trailers (not even a deleted scene) and GOTG2 had some scenes with Drax and others not found in the movie.

I always thought the Hulk had the same intelligence as Banner. Just he was more angry.

It depends. In the comics, there are periods where the Hulk is simply a rage monster, and there are periods where the Hulk has Banner's full intelligence. If you don't like rampaging brute Hulk, just wait a year or two and Marvel will make the Hulk super-intelligent. If you don't like the Hulk super-intelligent, just wait a year or two and Marvel will make the Hulk the living embodiment of Banner's rage. That's how it's been for the last thirty years. :)

Ah, okay. I see what you meant. My misunderstanding.

I'm glad the new trailer had a more serious approach to it, even though the text of the title and the music still screams Guardians to me. I'm excited that this movie looks like it will feature the Hulk a lot more. He's only been in just a few movies and even then, there wasn't a lot of screen time.

Now I'm gonna be a little disappointed if Thor doesn't call Hulk 'green troll' at some point.

Do we know who's voicing the Hulk? Mark Ruffalo? Lou Ferrigno? Someone else?

I want to say that's a pitched-down Ruffalo in his calmer more talky moments, Ferrigno in his roaring 'Hulk Smash' rage moments.

From what was said in Avengers Assemble, I always assumed Banner is the angrier of the two.

As for the Trailer, it was amaze-balls.
