I'm digging your FJ-esque take on the Kelvin. But personally I never cared for the Tholian ships being so flashy. But that's just may taste, your detail is well executed.

That's beautiful work, but TheWormhole would be disappointed that you left the zero out of the registry numbers.

Also, if it's the Kelvin class, the USS Kelvin should have the lowest registry number, the USS Constellation (NCC-1017) notwithstanding.

Of course, nothing has been officially established.

On my versions of the TOS ships I've got a shuttle bay on one side of the saucer rim and a cargo bay on the other side. So in this instance I didn't find it needed on the secondary hull. Again personal choice.
