Think we'll ever see an X-Factor movie?

I hope not - at least if it's The X-Factor that first comes to mind.

Given this is the SF&F forum, I guess we're not talking about that one?. Just looking on the web, it's a spin off from X-Men? If that is the one, I wouldn't mind:)

If they base it on the current version of X-Factor, I doubt it. There aren't enough companies manufacturing fake blood to cope.

Are you talking the Original Five version... the Havok Polaris 90s version... that weird circa 2000 version... or the current version? In either case, I don't think any of them are exciting enough to be movie worthy. Of course you could introduce Mister Sinister using the first arc from the 90s Havok team, that could be interesting.

The only genuinely cool thing about X-Factor was that it showed the original X-Men together again after so many years. That was the hook.

Problem is, we don't have that same setup in the movies. All the original X-Men were mixed up with the newer X-Men in the movies...so who cares about a movie with Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Angel and Iceman?

I'm not sure how Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh's antics would translate to the big screen

if you mean a Maddrox and friends movie, then yeah, I can maybe see it happening. I could also see the government team thing getting through hollywood's hoops.

if its it that, would it be similiar to Fantastic 4 and in some extent, Watchmen?

Where people with abilities, in this case mutants, are out in the open to the public.
