The last contest was all about evil. This one is about good, specifically super-heroes, those never-ending battlers for truth, justice and the (fill in your country of choice) way. Comics, movies, television, etc.
Other than the standard contest rules (see below), the only limit is that they should be what one typically thinks of as a classic-style superhero. When in doubt, ask yourself, "could/would this character fit in with a silver to bronze age roster of the Justice League or Avengers"?
Standard avatar contest rules apply: images must be no larger than 200 x 200 pixels and 1 MB, and must be SFW. Each entrant may enter up to three avatars. Please identify who or what your avatar depicts, as well as the movie, show, comic book, video game, etc. that it is from. Entries will be open for about a week, depending on how quickly we get entries.
