See I assumed the OP meant they were crying because the movie was SO bad - not because Data's death had any kind of effect.

Besides, we all know Data's death meant nothing because they TWoK'ed the end with B4.

Yeah, I actually read it that way too.

And I too had no particular feelings on Data's death since I found out about it months before seeing the flick. All that went through my mind at that part was "Wow...that was hollow."

Nemesis - I left the theater in back of a group of Trekkies that were CRYING. One woman sobbed, "How could they DO that???"

I'd have LOVED to have been crying at the end of Nemesis - it would mean that killing Data would have had an actual effect on me...

Actually, we heard people say that about Batman and Robin, so we switched our tickets for The Fifth Element and never regretted it.

So my thing would be, "Man, Batman and Robin was awesome!" Because if we heard that, we would have been subjected to that piece of shit movie instead of The Fifth Element!

Dunno about at the end of the movie, but if I ever hear a bleeding person coming out of a theater mid-show saying "I'll come back for the arm I chewed off later." I'll probably reconsider my choice if I'm ticketed for the same movie. LOL
