Things you DON'T want to hear people saying when they leave a movie?

You know how, when people leave a movie you can sometimes hear other people that was watching the movie talking about it with their friends or making comments. What are some things you wouldn't want to hear coming from someone's mouth , while walking out of a movie. I will list 3

1 "Devil's Rejects"=I wish I could be a member of the Firefly family.

2 "Godfather"=Guys I know where a horse is. You want to play a pratical joke on that mentally ill kid from school, when he goes to sleep."

3 "Hounddog"=I don't think I have ever been more aroused than I am right now.

"Boy, who'd have thought Darth Vader was Luke's father?!"

Actually, I remember from the Kermode podcasts a few weeks ago there was a game where people nominated movies where it would be inappropriate for an audience member to utter the phrase "Well, that definitely takes me back...!"

Nemesis - I left the theater in back of a group of Trekkies that were CRYING. One woman sobbed, "How could they DO that???"

"I can't believe the whole world was just a computer program! What a brilliant concept!"

"I can't believe they killed Spock!"

"The planet was Earth all along. I didn't see that coming!"

"I think the best scene was when Roy Scheider blew the shark up."

"All those spaceships, all those government people and they made a utility repair man the Earth's ambassador. Wild, man."

"Well, yeah, see, he could stand to listen to Beethoven again so he'd overcome the brainwashing."

"I didn't miss a second of the movie! I'm sure glad I wore those Depends!"

Re: Things you DON'T want to hear people saying when they leave a movi

"I hope they don't notice I peed in the seat."

"Did you ever find your pet hamster?"

"Man, I thought Uhura was hawt in that dance!"

"Are you still holding all those quarters?"

During the closing credits of Valkyrie, I got to listen to a bunch of kids behind me very loudly demonstrating that they knew jack shit about World War II.

I'd have LOVED to have been crying at the end of Nemesis - it would mean that killing Data would have had an actual effect on me...

"Did you hear that? I really ripped one. I feel sorry for the people walking behind me."

When my friends & I saw Iron Man on opening night, there was this guy in the front row. Every time Iron Man did something cool on screen, he would shout, "Yeah! Iron MAN!" When it momentarily looked like Rhodes might put on the silver armor, he nearly had an apoplectic fit when he screamed, "War Machine!" When they finally said the name "SHIELD," he just stood up & ran out of the theater, squealing with delight. Then, when we all filed out of the theater, we saw him sitting on the side of a garbage can saying, "Anyone who thinks I'm an asshole, push me in.":wtf:

"OMG! They killed Wash!"

I went to one of the early preview screenings they had for Serenity. After the movie, they had someone from Universal outside the door asking us our opinions on the movie. I kinda feel sorry for her, because all we could talk about was how sad & angry we were that they killed Wash. She desperately tried to get our general impressions of the overall movie but we were just too fixated & traumatized by Wash's death to be able to talk about anything else.

Nemesis - I left the theater in back of a group of Trekkies that were CRYING. One woman sobbed, "How could they DO that???"

I think I would have cried had I not been spoiled on that particular plot development 18 months before the movie came out.

LOL!! I was thinking along the lines of: Was the projector on fire I thought I saw it smoking?

Did you see that guy throw up in front of us?

"Promise me, if we ever have sex in a movie theater again..."

Re: Things you DON'T want to hear people saying when they leave a movi

"I could've sworn I saw Pee Wee Herman sitting behind us."

Re: Things you DON'T want to hear people saying when they leave a movi

"Ah, I finally get it. Nilbog is Goblin spelled backwards."

Re: Things you DON'T want to hear people saying when they leave a movi

Can't connect that to a movie.. which one is it?

"Did you hear that? I really ripped one. I feel sorry for the people walking behind me."

This actually happened to a friend of mine, with just three differences.

1. We were walking into the theatre, not out.

2. He thought he was ripping one at us.

3. After letting fly and saying "I fart in your general direction," he discovered that a young woman was walking behind him.

See I assumed the OP meant they were crying because the movie was SO bad - not because Data's death had any kind of effect.

Besides, we all know Data's death meant nothing because they TWoK'ed the end with B4.
