Things that frustrate us all

Why the fuck is the school psychologist coming ONE day every two weeks? It feels like you either hate your job OR the school doesn't care about the wellbeing of their students .

I don't understand how she was hired? Because this is extremely irresponsible. That school has God knows how many students and ONE psychologist, how is she not swamped by requests I don't understand. So yeah, unless I'm proved wrong and they DO have more school psychologists I'm going to file a complaint. Because if I'm right, than hiring her was a bad idea
Okay so I was right and it's just an issue of funding and she being on sick leave.

Back on topic: I can't talk to my mom about the fact that I have a lot on my plate: school, studying, financial insecurity, stress and anxiety. I tried to tell her about the amount of appointments i have to do and I can't rely on my social worker for everything because I can only use her a certain number of times and I'm running low on those numbers. Her reply? Just let it go! And this is why I don't talk to her about serious topics

^ Some people, you just can't discuss certain things with. I remember the last night of summer vacation about 40 years ago, I once admitted being upset about it. Being an undiagnosed ASD kid in general ed, I hated school. My father just blew up at me just a "what's wrong eith you, you should love school" sort of BS.

I didn't stop hating school, I just stopped talking to him about it.

Ever visit the website TV Line? It got sold to Static Media and now it's half clickbait.

"Star Trek: Picard Season 4 — Will It Happen? Everything We Know"

And what they know is absolutely nothing because there's nothing to report. It's all stuff they just pull out of their asses.

Can't wait until....

Cobra Kai: Season 7 — Will It Happen? Everything We Know
Hawaii Five-0: Season 11 — Will It Happen? Everything We Know
Blue Bloods: Season 15 — Will It Happen? Everything We Know
M*A*S*H: Season 12 — Will It Happen? Everything We Know

Whatever the algorithm tells them will get clicks.

Probably. Though I don't think the average child felt quite the ferocity of hatred for it that I did. If you had told me back then that in my adult life I would be... ....involved in public education, I would probably have laughed at you.

People who want your parking spot but don't give you enough room to back out .
One of the reasons why I have always backed into a parking spot whenever it's possible. (Been doing that since I first learned how to drive at 13.)

The primary reason I park as far away from the main entrance as possible and walk in. A lot more vacant spots and people too lazy to walk the extra steps leaves me with a lot of extra space around my vehicle.

Wish that worked near us. Car park can be virtually empty and you've parked on the farside. - Whey you get back, there's nearly always someone parked in the spot next to you.

For example, did that yesterday, parked straight and when I got back to the car, someone had parked next to me, facing the opposite way and definitely not parallel with the lines, so his back end was nearly touching my bonnet. - He could get out of the drivers side, on his, I couldn't get in mine :(

My parents tried that same bs on me when I was little even though the schools I went to were regular/SPED integrated (I was in SPED and therapy 1/2 day in elementary school back in the late 1980's/1990's). "I loved school when I was your age. You'll make new friends." But what that lead to was bullying and assaults from the other kids. Hell, even the other SPED kids eventually bullied/assaulted me. That was one of the reasons I actually preferred to keep my school life strictly separate from home life.

Years later, my mother admitted to hating school.

The number of medium or compact cars is dropping over here(some manufacturers don’t even make them anymore) so the amount of goddam SUV’s is growing.
Which would be ok if they also started designing parking spaces with this size increase in mind.

Ford here in the US announced some years back that they going to stop making compact cars and sedans and switch to trucks//vans/SUV's and that they were eventually going to go all electric. Other American car manufacturers (Chrysler, GMC) made a similar announcement.

But I really hate it when trucks/vans/SUV's park next to compact cars/sedans.

They're getting bigger anyway:( Mine is classed as a medium hatchback ( five year old model), but is long enough to fill a standard parking space and wide enough to just be awkward. - Idly looking through ones I might fancy as a replacement and even some of the (technically) smaller ones, by class at least, are wider, but perhaps not as long.

I do see more pickups on the way to work, and they're probably not the superlarge ones now out:(

It's funny. Shopping not too long ago, I came out of the store and found a new Trailblazer parked next to my old 2005 model and it was smaller than mine.
Mom and Wink recently bought a Toyota Cross Corolla Hybrid, that, when they came over one weekday to go shopping and picked me up, I thought it was their RAV4; they were that close in size and shape.
I see a lot of Ford Maverick and Rivian on the roads around here; and Rivian just recently opened up an assembly line/warehouse/dealership right down the street from where I live.
