Things that frustrate us all

Budgeting seems a forgotten skill. In the UK so many borrow as much as banks will throw at them without thinking 'What if'. And now as interest rates are much higher than a year ago they are struggling to pay.

Suddenly a window pops up with a warning: This document contains information that is not understood by the reader (or words close to that, it happened some time ago)

Thank you very much, computer. Let me be my own judge of what I do, and what I don't understand, OK?

The one that is always mentioned is the McDonalds hot coffee incident but from what I understand that was genuinely McDonalds fault as the temperature of the coffee was far too hot.

The one I heard and no idea if it's just an internet story is the woman who successfully sued a store for falling over a child and injuring herself, but the child was her own?

The vast majority of stupid rules out there only exist because of lawyers. But it would also help if people, or at least Americans, weren't so fucking sue happy all the time.
What I think would help more is the willingness to accept personal responsibility. Few people want that though.

FUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

I was all ready to finish watching a VERY exciting arc on the Chicago shows (about a warehouse fire) but it ends in an episode of Chicago Justice...and that fucking series isn't fucking available on fucking Peacock. :brickwall:

So my question is twofold: 1) WHY isn't "Justice" available on Peacock, when every other Chicago show is, and 2) WHERE THE FUCK CAN I WATCH THAT EPISODE?

(It's not available on NBC.COM either.)

And yes, I am well aware that "Justice" was cancelled after only one season, but that can't be the reason for all of this because Peacock has plenty of other cancelled shows available to watch.)

Early this morning I was woken by a strange metallic bleeping. Thought it came from outside and eventually it stopped.

11pm, just thinking of going to sleep and it starts again. It's loud, it's regular and it's the s***ingly badly placed smoke alarm at the top of the stairs. As it's mains wired, it will (according to the Internet) do this forever (or until it is replaced). It's so loud that I can hear it through ear plugs.

There's a package delivery service in this region that is the worst one of them all and it's not even close. Mentioned them in another thread earlier. They just delivered a package by throwing it against the door.

Chicago Justice isn't free to stream anywhere. You can rent it on Amazon, YouTube, Google, Apple, Vudu.

Working myself up to 45 minutes a day of zone 2 cardio to rebuild myself back up from COVID x2 last year. That’s like a hour since it takes time to get to zone 2. Did a hike that took me 15 minutes longer than usual.

Doing it because.

Super frustrating.

Bought a box of brand name ice cream bars that the grocery store had on clearance. What a great deal! Why would they be on clearance? Turns out they're super tiny!
