Things that frustrate us all

Getting our annual MUD bill and it's more than TWICE what it was last year. We have 3 months to figure out how to pay a bill that's more than 2 months pay, when we live paycheck to paycheck.
:scream:

“Not Like”!!!
If this stands for what I think it stands for.
I know a little about this.
So sorry…

Municipal Utility District. It's how developers in Texas find alternate ways to pay for infrastructure, like water lines, sewer, drainage, etc. The State issues a bond to the developers to collect funds to pay for it from the residents via a yearly MUD tax.

Good news: hubby says it should be covered by our escrow. We may have to add more to the escrow. account , though. We paid off our last mortgage pretty quickly, so I'd forgotten about that.

Looked into it. Nope. Hubby was wrong. We need to find an additional 3,000 dollars before the end of January. Crap .

  • I'm you he's ready for the grill then my plate then my belly and what's left in the toilet
  • It's a piggy whoa whoa whoa I'm gonna get grumpy it's got Grace and it belongs on my plate it's my piggy whoa whoa whoa who I'n going to grubby

Those would work great as Rammstein lyrics...

Radio ads shouldn't be allowed to use horns or sirens.

This sentence works even better if it ends after "allowed".

Doctors not keeping up to date with health info. First, it's hard to find a doctor. Second, it's even harder to find good ones.

The current science for cholesterol suggests looking at APO B levels now too. You can easily find legit research from credible sources that spell this out. But I always have to explain the test to my doctor. My insurance 100% covers it. And I always still get a lipid panel too since that has been the default for ages.

Frustrating day at the docs office.

Or that rapid-fire gibberish that always happens in the last 5 seconds of the ad.

If it can't be clearly understood, it has no business being there.
Technically it has to be there, I think that's usually all stuff that they have to include, but don't actually want you to know about.

Technicalities should be banned.

But we know that will never happen, because lawyers are the enemy of common sense.

Life is going to school and being taught the ideal only to become an adult and learn that everything is less than ideal.
We need courses such as: government dysfunction, spotting disinformation, home repairs, and navigating healthcare.
