Things that frustrate us all

I got new Neighbours two years ago, they've been at DIYing almost CONSTANTLY since they moved in, and they like to get really early starts (like 8am) I'm not back from Dialysis till after 12 some nights so it's really annoying. I've asked them to start later but they basically outright refused.

Do you hail from the EU, North America or Asia? In all of these regions students are required to do a language test before they are admitted to an students exchange programme.
It's different, alas, for those who take a sabatical year and go abroad to work there.

I'm from the EU. As far as I can tell, they are required to take a language test to test their proficiency in English (but not in the local language) before being allowed to study here. Which makes some sense, as they usually follow programmes offered in English.

You could get some fun out of the situation by adressing these foreign students in some exotic language like Latin. That'd be the point, I think,
where even a good translation app would break down and they'd have to use their brains to find out what you want

It's not the foreign students themselves I have a problem with, they're welcome to study in my country. I see no reason to take it out on them. It's the sector that hires them who I think are too 'easy' in their assumptions.

↑ or blocks the last empty spot and won't move.

Today I am really angry: some moron stole the 2 largest and ripest squashes from my veggie bed - that's ¼ of my crop in numbers or almost ½ if you go by weight.
It'd be acceptable if they stole them to eat them but I fear my squashes ended up being hollowed out for lanterns and the good meat got thrown away :brickwall::censored::klingon:

Why do people feel it's necessary to onto IG or Facebook pages for sanctuaries, or even just people who have pigs and animals like that as personal pets, and post comments about how they want to kill their animal(s) and eat them? Am I the only who both incredibly rude, and kind of disturbing.

It's both horribly rude AND deeply disturbing.

Just to give an example here are a couple comments the same guy left on two videos of pigs on one of the Arthur' Acres Animal Sanctuary social media pages:
  • I'm you he's ready for the grill then my plate then my belly and what's left in the toilet
  • It's a piggy whoa whoa whoa I'm gonna get grumpy it's got Grace and it belongs on my plate it's my piggy whoa whoa whoa who I'n going to grubby
