Things that frustrate us all

I was taught that at a four way intersection with no lights you come to a complete stop, look both ways before proceeding in a counter clockwise direction.
The car on my left goes first, I go second, the car to my right goes third and the car straight ahead goes last.

Maybe I described it wrong. It's a residential intersection where the main street doesn't have to stop but the side street has to and I was on the main street.

Customers who make online web appointments then don't follow through.

We set aside a block of time for our technicians to work on your vehicle, and then for you to just blow us off or when we call to remind you and it goes straight to voice-mail.

It leaves my technicians sitting around twiddling their thumbs.

At least have the courtesy of calling to say you can't make it, so we can possibly reschedule.
While it is frustrating, conversely, when you make an appointment for someone to come to your home, you take time off from work, and then they don't show.

If an appointment is made, the one who doesn't show within a reasonable amount of time, then the party that doesn't show is charged a no-show fee/credit.

At a four-way stop, if no one is crossing across other lanes, opposing sides can proceed at the same time.

I had anxiety bad for one day. It was excessive stress without enough exercise for me. Ramped up the exercise and pushed on the workload and never happened again.
Yea, been trying to exercise more, but it's obvious that I need to do more. Wondering if Covid could have caused it.

Woke up to the sound of someone's car alarm that had been going off for quite a long time.

But I can't go back to sleep at this point because if I do, I'll end up waking up super late and feeling messed up for the rest of the day.

One person did it, so everyone else had to do it. Fun to mess with people.

A couple of weeks ago I put my garbage out two days early to see if any of my neighbors would do the same thing. Many did.
You gotta be careful if you do that in a neighborhood with HOA, they're pretty quick to get pissed and start threating to fine you. My mom accidently left the garbage can by our back gate once for one day, and within a few days we got a nasty letter from HOA telling us not to do it again. We think one of the neighbors might have reported it, but it's still ridiculous for them to be so quick to start sending letters.

Wireless/Bluetooth connections that will not do what one needs them to do; even if one tries to compel them with brainwaves and the odd expletive.

When are HOAs not ridiculous?
When they are not enforced.

Like mine.

What was worse for us was last year we got a correct notice from the county due to working on our house and having multiple lumber piles of scrap. Neighbor complained to the county and we had to correct it or have a fine.

No fun.

That really is the kind of thing HOAs are supposed to be for, but sadly most of them have become power hungry control freaks.

I always laugh when those Amazon radio ads keep saying they're "flexible" in their job postings.

Flexible my ass...they don't even let you go to the BATHROOM! Why else do those warehouse slaves have to pee into a bottle?

I am starting to hate when a customer comes into the shop and starts talking into the phone using Google translate.
Them trying to communicate what needs to be done vs me trying to explain it gets frustrating.
Case in point, just had a customer come in speaking Vietnamese asking if we could do work on his car. He kept repeating 'Oil', which I took to mean he wanted an oil change. Turns out he wanted to buy a quart of oil, which we don't sell. Sent him down the street to O'Reilly. Hope they can help him.
