Things that frustrate us all

Forgive me for all you road crew people that pick up after yourself. I think you guys do a great job. But in our neighborhood we had all the roads done. And the road crews littered all over the place. In front of our house and all over. Thought they would pick up. But they didn't so my husband and I got a bag and went around and picked it all up. That just really bugged me you know! Anyone else have that happen to them in their neighborhoods??

When the tracking on your parcel says "delivered" even though the mail carrier actually kept it in the truck and doesn't actually deliver it until the next day.

Kor

Ouch!!!!!!
That has happened to me once.

Worst is when they do come to the door to deliver parcel but you can't make it to the door in time he leaves a card and walks off out the driveway with the parcel. I tried to yell out but he kept walking. I was so pissed off.

Not road crews but lots of the British public who think litter is someone else's problem.

Slip roads and road verges are horrendous as people seem to think launching drink containers, Fast Food wrappers and so on out the window us the right thing to do.

I'd put hidden cameras in these locations if I was on charge and put some serious fines or punishment in place.

500 Hours litter picking maybe or 5 grand fine..or taking the car off them.

I don't understand why British think it's OK, I have driven through Europe and rarely see litter.

Panic buying never makes any sense. There's never a reason for it. Oftentimes we have no idea why or how it even starts. It's pretty much a random thing.

I mean, when the pandemic first dropped, people flocked to buy toilet paper, even though there was no logical reason for them to do so (it's not like covid gives people the shits or anything like that  ).

So don't even try to explain it. You can't. It's impossible.

Well whenever there is a hurricane sliding up the coast, people here run out and strip the store shelves of toilet paper, batteries, and water, mostly.
People are afraid that supplies will run out, but their actions actually produce the exact situation they fear.
