Things that frustrate us all

My home villiage, the one I grew up in, had five Chippies to choose from when I lived there.

We had some Ukrainian children on an exchange program staying with our neighbour. They were in awe at our fish and chip cuisine.

A traditional English menu isn’t the most sophisticated, but it has its moments.

However, with the proper mixture of mayonnaise and ketchup, one could conceivably eat almost anything, and certainly if it is breaded and or deep fried.:techman:

Heinz is apparently launching a product in Canada in May which is a combination ketchup/mayonnaise... which they imaginatively call "mayochup".

Not really frustrating, but certainly... confusing.

Not being able to build a time machine.

Or at least, you know, *rent* one for a little while...

Here’s one nearly every college student I know has had at least once:

Professors who believe that theirs is the only class you are taking, and act accordingly.

For me, today, it’s more like “Professors who don’t grasp that while you work for the college, it’s in a different department from theirs and not directly for them.”

I email and gather the data from the surveys you all give me, Doctor. I do NOT write them for you.

I woke up yesterday with my neck hurting. It got worse and better and worse throughout the day. When I finally went to bed it was hurting so much that I nearly threw up a few times.

It's...okay...right now. It hurts, but I have an ice pack resting on my shoulders and neck and it seems to be taking care of the worst of the pain.

I seriously considered going to the ER last night and am still considering it today.

There's a weird, almost hickey at the base of my neck above my right shoulder. I have no idea what that's about.

maybe you accidentially slept on something hard? A pen or an mp3 player perhaps?

My argh-moment of the day: when you re-read a post, find 2 embarassing typos and the editing time has expired.

I'll admit that there was one difference with my bed the night before and the night I started hurting. I didn't seal my water bottle tight and spilled some water on my couch cushion so I laid a thick sweatshirt over the wet spot.

I can't imagine that tweaking my neck that bad, though.

It's tolerable right now, but still painful.

I'm pretty sure I inherited my dad's spinal stenosis (and yet another undiagnosed issue of mine) and I'm wondering if it finally got bad enough that I have a pinched nerve. When I roll my neck I constantly hear clicking and popping and snapping and my upper spine is almost always in some sort of light pain, but this is something else. It's on the back right side of my neck just between my skull and shoulder.
