It’s the ones that misuse yellow boxes. In the U.K. and probably elsewhere (reminds me I need to spend more time on SkyScaperCity), yellow boxed junctions should only be entered if you can get out of it the other side. Basically a keep clear. So many traffic delays caused by drivers blocking these.
True and in theory the only time you are really allowed to stop in a yellow box junction (in the UK) is if you are turning right and wating for oncoming traffic to clear.
But I can think of lots of other things which can contribute to delays.
Driving below the speed limit, this can cause a queue of cars to form behind the lead car which could make it harder for other cars entering to join from side roads as natural gaps in traffic which might appear due to traffic light sequences close due other drivers driving to the speed limit and catching up with the queue of traffic.
Not being ready to go when your lane of traffic gets the green light at traffic lights. You even get warning with it showing Red and Amber.
Braking for no reason. Yes I can see the speed camera but you are already doing less than the posted speed limit there is no need to slow down even more.
See those slip roads on motorways(if the are clear) they are to be used for accelerating up to motorway speed or decelerating from motorway speed don't slow down on the main carriage way.
Whilst we are on motorways, see that lane on the left (in the UK) that is known as the driving lane all other lanes are known as overtaking lanes, if you aren't overtaking or closing on a vehicle move over.
Please use your indicators when changing lanes or turning.
Yes I know we all make mistakes but that should be the exception rather than the norm. I'm sure many of us have driven behind people who make numerous of the same driving error i.e. failing to indicate. And if your indicators have failed all you need to if you will be turning right shortly is stick your right arm out the window, for turning left stick your right arm out and rotate it in an anti-clockwise manner, as for loss of brake lights once again right arm out and raise it up and down.
