Things that frustrate us all

Litter on motorways or dual carriageways in the uk. Just returned from France and its litter free, either they have better litter picking up or a more considerate population.

Anyone here shop at Best Buy? They used to have an Elite and Elite Plus membership program where you could get points for purchases and extended returns. No more extended returns anymore unless you pay $200 per year for their useless Total Tech program (which they also use as a pay wall for hot ticket items like PS5s). Otherwise it's a regular 15-day return policy. Who's gonna buy TVs or refrigerators or video game consoles with a 15-day return window? Best Buy is giving themselves a self-inflicted wound.

Yes, they are. Hubby is a real tech guy, so any gadget or home machine was bought at Best Buy. That came to end some time in the last few years. Their return policy, their recycling policy, their service contacts, you name it.--- it all started to disappear. It's too bad. It used to be the first place that came to mind for all kinds of things and now it's just a place to compare different TVs.

The Best Buy I used to shop at, has dwindled away to almost nothing. I wouldn’t feel comfortable buying anything there anymore.

That's how my family's luck tends to go, we always seem to pick the worst possible time to do that kind of thing. It's also a running joke that no vacation is complete without a visit to an ER.

I got one full day in. Then we went into the park in the morning for a planned tour in Lamar Valley and saw the road up north blocked off. We drove around for another hour then went back to the AirBnB then around lunchtime found out the park was closed.

Tired of the heat.

At least you have had some heat. Here in the Pacific Northwest it was the third coldest spring on record; with only three days getting a degree above 70. Just one degree mind you. The first full day of summer was rainy and cloudy and didn't get to the mid-sixties. We're supposed to hit the mid-eighties this weekend, then right back down to the sixties.

I can relate. I'm already always weak and tired due to my various disabilities, but our current heat wave has made that worse, and not only can I not get anything done because of it, my house's air conditioning is not helping the way it usually does.

Wow, that weather sounds like heaven to me.

Sounds like fine enough weather. Temp in the high teens C is plenty warm enough for me.
