Things that frustrate us all

Try herbal remedies. They usually work fine. I've been taking a combination of valerian and passiflora for the last weeks and it works very nicely. The worst thing you can do is try to force yourself to sleep. It'll make you all the more awake. Try to take it easy, solve a crossword puzzle or listen to an audio book until you fall asleep. Doing hosework is a good solution, too :) Also, try to go to bed always at the same time. For some reason, humans work better on a schedule.

That was horrible.... i absolutely can NOT SING!!!
Considering how much I love singing, it is unfortunate that I am so wretchedly terrible at it! :)
So what? As long as you have fun and don't drive your neighbours into despair, there's no reason at all why you shouldn't sing. Things that are fun strengthen the immune system and therefore are good against Corona.

Life.

I was really getting frustrated today with the simple things like eating .. or say the setting up process for my music creation time. just simple things that don't really matter were frustrating.. then I had to move on and such.. but it all was so Frustrating.

Finding it difficult to play along with a relentless computer driven beat, or click
Yet I can play along with no problem when a drummer is in the room
That's fucking frustrating

^ naah, that's perfectly normal. Music is something people make for people. It shouldn't be something machines make.
I think by its very nature, music is something quite organic. It lives from giving to each other and from sharing. You can't get cooperation from a drum computer.
Also, a real drummer sounds better than any computer. It's the tiny variations and the microsecond a drummer is off-beat that make a tune groove :)

Recently when I had the good fortune to record some of my tunes in a studio, it was amazing to have a drummer, a drummer who could tune into a player or a group who's timing maybe wasn't perfect, and adjust instantly.
Before that, when we played as a group (of intermediate learners) we played without a drummer so when we had the drummer to drive us on it was fantastic, although . . . . . . it made my songs a bit more "gutsy" than I had intended.
The relentless click or a computer generated drum programme can be difficult if you play with even slightly imperfect timing, in fact it can drive you mad.

I totally agree! A good drummer with a light touch is worth his weight in booze ;)
Most soloists require a rhythm section that gives them a guideline to stick to. It's unusual to have a drummer who adapts to the rest of the band instead of the other way round. Congrats at having found such a rare specimen!

When an ebay seller sends the completely wrong item... And, on top of that, they packaged it pretty poorly, resulting in it getting damaged in the post, thereby making it worthless for their resale value if you send it back.

He was an exceptional drummer, way too good for me and my other duffers

Back when I used ebay more, mostly it went smoothly, but once in a while somebody would claim it arrived damaged or mangled or something and ask for a refund. And it's plausible enough that you can't really accuse them of lying without getting negative feedback and hurting your future sales.

Nowadays there is a way to attach photos when you open an issue/complaint, so I did that, and the seller just told me I could keep the item and he would send me the correct one at no charge.

i saw a so-called art film once, it started with some goats and an old dude walking aound in the mountains,
after 45 minutes, it's still the same damn walking around in the mountains and every now and then
he went home and nodded to some old broads and went back up again, with the goats, and all this
was in total silence, not a single word was spoken. I just had to turn it off.

I didnt get get it.... and i refuse to pretend that i did....
ART.... wtf...
