Maybe Harry and O'Brien... we'll see which one ends up suffering more.
Assuming, of course, that their combined bad luck doesn't cause the Cerritos to undergo S.M.E.F. (Spontaneous Massive Existence Failure), or worse.
I just watched the episode that featured Badgey. I wouldn't mind if they brought that back. It was funny.
That dog was awful and Badgey was largely unfunny so I would not be sad if they did not show up.
I was bored last night, and with Season 2 on the immediate horizon, I decided to do a binge re-watch, which at ~23 min an episode, is not a huge investment of time.
My opinion on the series has not changed. It started relatively strong, and then had some really crappy, awkward and almost irredeemable episodes in the middle, followed by 3 really great episodes to close.
"Second Contact," "Envoys" and "Temporal Edict" were all fairly good. Envoys was the best of the 3. None of them were great, but they were fresh and enjoyable.
"Moist Vessel" was ok...but reminded me of something you'd see in TNG Season 6 or 7. That's not a "plus" from my chair. The ascension thing was downright embarassing.
"Cupid's Errant Arrow," "Terminal Provocations," and "Much Ado About Boimler" were just uncomfortably awful, and Badgey was probably the worst part of the bunch there...just cringey. A total misfire, at least by my measure.
"Veritas," "Crisis Point," and "No Small Parts" were all really good, with "Veritas and "NSP" probably being the best episodes of the series.

I've seen the series before. I'm just rewatching before the new season comes. I think Badgey returns in another episode but I kinda forgot.
All the pieces are in place for Badgey to reappear. He's probably going to be a major antagonist in a future episode.

Those weird kitbash models from Deep Space Nine and TNG. The Cerritos would fit in perfectly with the USS Curry or the Elkins classes.

some of those kitbashes never worked for me (the Intrepid maquis raider hybrid for example) but the Centaur and Raging queen fit the format of Constitution/Miranda, Galaxy/Nebula relationships but for the Excellsior
