It's from the episode Crosetti and I think pretty much everything about it is perfect: The music, the acting, the directing, the camera. It's incredibly emotional and very, very touching. I think everyone should watch this episode.)

Seriously it looks great, the guy saluting the car has a great air of dignity around him and the scene plays itself out well.
I'm not into crime shows but I've heard nothing but good things about shows like the Wire and indeed Homicide:life on the Streets.
You yanks sure have some great programs on you!

Good answer, and I apologise for my grievous error ,I am but a humble limey of no account.
Such a complete list, most of mine are probably covered:
1) Reset button episodes.
2) Nearly going to war with some species that's never seen or heard from again.
3) The non-human observer of human behavior. Spock was interesting. Data was interesting. Odo was interesting. The others were cliches.
4) The Borg. Great concept but by the time First Contact came around they were a joke.
5) Episodes where the captain has to let down their tough exterior for children.
6) Nemesis. All I ever wanted from TNG was a Romulan movie. I should have clarified that it actually be a good movie.
7) Ezri.
8) Leeta.
9) Canon debates. Canon is whatever the writers say it is folks. All you have to do is decide whether or not you like it.
10) The often used line, "I'll try to keep that in mind." In 32 years of life, I have never once had a person use that phrase in actual conversation.
