Having lived there, I can assure you that some people actually don't talk like that at all.Having been posted in New England before, I can tell the subtle differences between the two accents.
"Mr. Engineeh, whats the status of the wahp drive?"
Oh, and I hate that people hate Voyager so much.

Kate, Thor, Jon – sometimes you guys are just like a comedy trio!![]()
It's hilarious how you always seem to provide the groundwork for the other's puns. You seem like a well-rehearsed team. Reading this thread is fun.![]()

The real challenge is finding a "central" place to rehearse.![]()

(Thanks! It's from a scene from the formidable Homicide: Life on the Streets. But it's not just any scene; it's probably my favorite scene in all of television history. And I mean that. It's from the episode Crosetti and I think pretty much everything about it is perfect: The music, the acting, the directing, the camera. It's incredibly emotional and very, very touching. I think everyone should watch this episode.)(Can I also say that I like your avatar, where or what is it from?)

Oh, yeah, right. Erh, what I hate about Star Trek? Hm, let me think about it ...(Thanks! It's from a scene from the formidable Homicide: Life on the Streets. In passing I think
Seriously it looks great, the guy saluting the car has a great air of dignity around him and the scene plays itself out well.
I'm not into crime shows but I've heard nothing but good things about shows like the Wire and indeed Homicide:life on the Streets.
You yanks sure have some great programs on you!
(looks over the rest of the thread I need to go and find something else from ST to hate otherwise this thread might go to far of topic.)

That it isn't more like Homicide: Life on the Streets.
(Oh, and I ain't no Yank, damnit!)
6) Nemesis. All I ever wanted from TNG was a Romulan movie. I should have clarified that it actually be a good movie.
