Old beat up kitchen chairs with missing legs, broken toilets, stained mattresses, briefcases full of hundred dollar bills, things of that nature.^like what? I've seen perfectly good things being thrown away.
Why do people engage in the craven act of scavenging? Is there material benefit to be gained from taking old, broken possessions? Are these people crazy hoarders like you see on Today Tonight or is there some genuine benefit to rooting through people's garbage?
Am I missing out on a potential wealth bonanza?
My neighbors down the street put out an exercise bike and some busted out furniture and put a "free" sign on them and at the end of the day the perfectly good exercise bike was still there and the broken up furniture was gone.
^Yeah, they'd rather sit on the furntiure and watch TV instead of using the bike....
