What that person told you does not sound like it could be correct. There should be a dot after the f regardless of whether you are citing for just one sentence or a while paragraph. It is true that if you are citing for a paragraph then there will not be a dot after the last bracket, but there should still be a dot after the f. Honestly I don't think that other person knows what they are saying!
Anyway, good luck with everything. I hope you can be done with all of this soon!

After the f yes, but after the bracket?

This is so confusing.
If you are just citing for one sentence, you should put a dot after the f AND after the bracket. It does look weird to have a dot, a bracket, and then another dot, but that's the way I was taught to do it (and from searching various style guides online it looks like that's the way most others do it too). If you are citing for a paragraph then there would be no dot after the bracket, just after the actual sentence and the f.
You mean plagiarism? Unless you tried to rival Guttenberg you should be safe.I also worried somewhat about that because there are only so many different ways to say something but then again, I'm sure things like that don't count as plagiarism. You didn't plagiarise so you don't have anything to worry about in that regard.

May I ask what it was about?![]()
I found a mistake.... there is a word and a number.... but no space between them. Argh! Actually I don´t wanted to look inside it anymore, but now I had a look inside and this jumps into my eye! Hope there are not so many others!

Meh, and earlier today I was thinking of telling you to not look inside until you know the result.
Exactly the same happened to me (I told the story before) and it annoyed me to no end. Don't worry.![]()
