Theme from Deep Space 9

…played all by me. I pulled the original theme up in ProTools, and I just kept adding parts until I had enough and then I removed the original. Lol.

at one point, I shared this with René Abnerjonois on Twitter a few years before he left us, and he actually reacted. He said something like “immense”… too bad I didn’t include pictures of Odo, I was in a Garak phase at that point…

I was planning on doing the theme from Voyager too, but that one is a little bit more difficult, I still may do it, though

It would have been cool to cycle through photos of the main cast, too. Maybe in sets (Jake & Ben, Miles & Julian, Quark & Odo, Worf & Dax, and Kira alone because she's so awesome). Then you'd only need five stills.

I only had Windows 8 movie maker to use at that time, and not very many images I could use. One of these days I will create a new video…

Unfortunately, I lost the ProTools session when I had a virus that changed all of the file extensions to “adami”, it didn’t just rename the files it encrypted them. The virus got into one unprotected computer, and it worked its way into all of my other computers through Home networking. It destroyed 3/4 of my music files, including the original session for that song. Grr. Irreplaceable stuff.

has anybody else done or seen any Star Trek themes or music? I was considering doing some of the TOS soundtrack, there are some great little quips that could be made into songs…

I think there might be a couple of other people who did the deep space nine theme. I’ll have to take a look.
